The DHBS Presents: “Blues and Boogie Woogie”

On Saturday April 18, 2020 The DHBS will present “ Blues and Boogie Woogie”. This event will take place at the Scarab Club in Detroit from 2PM until 4 PM. A $10.00 Donation is requested

Philippe LeJeune is a perfect example of the mixture of jazz and blues which was especially an important strain in the jazz tradition. In 1980 he was invited by Memphis Slim himself to cut "Dialog In Boogie" .
